Ford team since 2008 has been working together to build an aircraft-inspired vehicle every year for the AirVenture aircraft show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin organized by Experimental Aircraft Association. Every year the concept vehicle is being kept in an auction to raise funds which are utilized for next-generation pilot training programs through an event named ‘Gathering of Eagles’. Up till now, Ford has gathered more than 3 million dollars for this fundraising event. Usually, Ford presents Mustangs for auction. However, this time Ford has taken inspiration from F-22 Raptor fighter jet and worked on F-150 Raptor to create a new concept truck called Ford F-150 Raptor F-22 Concept. This year’s at the Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the AirVenture Oshkosh show was also sponsored by Ford.
Ford F-150 Raptor F-22 Concept Interior and Exterior features
The DeBerti Design team has exclusively designed the interior and exterior look of the new concept truck. And both the inside and outside look show jet cues. All the controls, gauges, matte finish look including the instrument panel’s LED lighting gives you the intimidating look of the fighter jet, and the driver could feel like sitting in the cockpit. The truck also features KC Hilites 1.3-million candela LED illumination fire. The grille is made up of titanium and includes aircraft’s front silhouette. The audio system is by Kicker with 1.5 k watts of amplification. DeBerti’s exclusive two-tire, gas, and ProEagle jack holder. The exhaust system has carbon fiber tips and made up of stainless-steel by Borla. Fender vents, flares, and hood are consist of DeBerti carbon fiber. Ford has brought the top of the class tires, now it is ready to fly on road on Falcon Wildpeak pack housed by Innov8 Racing Beadlock wheels.
2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Engine
The curiosity which arises in everyone’s mind is what Ford has put under the hood of this concept vehicle to match its name taken from F150 Raptor and F-22 jet. Ford’s F-150 Raptor already being classified as a toughest and strongest off-road truck is able to deliver an output of 450 horsepower and a torque of 510 pounds-feet, so this one should deliver some extra power. It is twin-turbo EcoBoost 3.5-liter engine installed in the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor F-22 Concept which is able to generate an output of 545 horsepower and a torque of 660 pounds-feet.
For dynamic and smooth suspension, Deaver rear spring pack along with Fox bypass series shocks is being used. On and off road agility is maintained through exclusive Terrain Management System of F150 Raptor. The front suspension is modified along with big rotors and Alcon six-piston painted calipers to make the most of the engine and take its performance to nerve-racking new levels. Ford team has combined the elements of both performance oriented road and air machines to bring a new concept truck.

Price and Release date
As it’s a concept vehicle, it is not going to be released for public. The conceptual truck Ford F-150 Raptor F-22 Concept 2017 was bought at the cost of $300,000 by US Airforce’s F-22 Squadron’s Commander Gary Ackerman.
