Ford Kuga has not received any major updates since 2012, but now is the time. The new 2018 Ford Kuga is going to be an elevated, high performing and stylish SUV. There is not much info revealed about this new variant by the Company, however, the sources have got plenty of news to talk about. The new model contains material of splendid quality. It brings gratifying traveling with its two powerful engines. It is going to give a tough competition to its rivals like VW Tiguan, Mazda Cx-5 and Honda CR-V.

The stronger 1.5 liter EcoBoost petrol engine is able to provide an output of 180 horsepower, this one is All-wheels-drive with fuel consumption of 7.5 l/100 km or 37.7 mpg.
There is a couple of diesel options. The first powertrain comes with 6-speed PowerShift FWD, it is 1.5-litre TDCi. Fuel consumption is really low, 4.8 l/100 km or 58.8 mpg.
The second one is FWD and AWD; the engine is stronger 2.0-litre TDCi with FWD manual transmission (6-speed). Fuel consumption is even better, 4.7 l/100 km or 60.1 mpg. Option number two is AWD with 6-speed manual, and fuel consumption of 5.2 l/100 km or 54.3 mpg. Third options come with PowerShift AWD (6-speed), and the same fuel consumption as the previous engine.
The third and the strongest powertrain is 2.0-litre TDCi with 178 hp, this engine has two transmissions options. First one is 6-speed manual AWD, with fuel consumption of 5.2 l/100 km or 54.3 mpg, and the last option is 6-speed PowerShift AWD, with the same specs and the same fuel economy.
2018 Ford SUV will introduce a lot of safety features along with crash protection. It has also achieved a five-star rating by Euro NCAP. It also gets seven airbags along with that include some other safety features which are listed below:

• Blind spot information system
• Traffic sign recognition (on the dashboard it display roadside information)

Price and Release date
According to details, the 2018 Kuga will be released by the end of 2017 or early 2018. The base model is expected to be worth around $25,000, whereas higher trim levels and additional packages will cost more.
