2019 Ford Focus Vignale

Ford has already revealed a new Ford Focus car that is expected to replace the Focus RS model. This hatch is expected to get to the European market late this year, before proceeding to the North Americans market from mid-2019. It comes in 7 trim levels and its high-end model will be known as the new 2019 Ford Focus Vignale.

2019 Ford Focus Vignale Exterior

The exterior design of this car departs slightly from the original Focus model but retains some of the features. It has been built on a new platform known as C2 and features coast-to-coast lower front crevice. This feature gives it a more skillful and beautiful design than its predecessor. The roof rails get a glossy aluminum finish to give it a restrained Vignale decoration. The model also gets rocker inserts and an elegant fascia.

There is also Vignale signature mesh grille. The car has a more multifaceted two-piece taillamp for an easier opening of the deck-lid. There are also LED lights, taillamps with satin-finish letters. Up to 13 colors are expected for the exterior of this car and this will include four-coat Dark Mulberry color just for this trim, also Desert Island Blue and Orange Glow, beside standard colors. The hatch will retain most of the features from the other Focus trims.

Ford Focus Vignale 2019 Interior

The new Focus Vignale 2019 interior is built on a more human-centric philosophical design. The cabin is more appealing, premium, and friendly. The dash is less clustered than its previous model to give you a more pacifying environment. Soft premium materials have been used to build the interior components such as the door and the instrument panel. The instrument panel on the passenger side has brushed finishes together with polished glass. This also applies to the deco-spear, air-vent registers, and door trims.

The 2019 Focus Vignale includes a number of suitable features which can be accessed through its FordPass app. They include vehicle locator, vehicle status, door lock unlock, remote start, and eCall functionality. The vehicle locator makes it possible to find your car in a crowded location. Furthermore, the car status feature allows you to check the oil life, fuel, and alarm status. The eCall feature automatically calls the emergency services in case of an accident.

Engine and Safety

2019 Focus Vignale gives you a number of advanced features including the Co-Pilot360 technologies from Ford to enhance the safety of your car. These technologies also make it possible to have a less demanding and more pleasant driving experience. Expect features like Lane-Centering, Speed Sign Recognition, ACC, and Stop and Go. These features help you do a comfortable drive and minimize the stress associated with long trips.

The ACC operates at speeds not exceeding 125 mph while the Stop and Go feature makes it possible to bring this car to a halt with a braking force of less than 50 percent. The car is expected to use a 1.5-liter engine whose horsepower is 148 hp and 180 hp. A 2.0-liter diesel engine is also an option with horsepower capabilities of 118 hp. The transmission system is either a six-speed manual or 8-speed automatic system.

Price and release date

This car is expected to reach the European market in the second half of 2018. The US market is likely to get the car through the Chinese imports from mid-2019. Whereas the basic Focus model is expected to cost about $25,500, this Vignale model will require you to spend about $36,000.
